  as business manager for small local non profit I am NOT RECOMMENDING this bank. we tried to perform monthly bill pay to local merchant but the stupid 3rd party system NBAZ uses botched it completely. an hour on the phone with so called customer service produced lies nonsense and demonstrated utter lack of responsibility by this bank. I am recommending to our director we take our money elsewhere.

  I always receive outstanding service at National Bank of Arizona. The team is consistently timely, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond with every interaction. One of the things I appreciate most is how they greet you by name the moment you walk in -- it makes every visit feel personal and welcoming. Rachael, in particular, is amazing. She is incredibly helpful, always has a smile on her face, and makes every banking need feel easy and stress‑free. Her professionalism and kindness set the tone for the entire branch. It's rare to find a bank where you feel genuinely cared for, but National Bank of Arizona delivers that experience every time. Highly recommend this branch for anyone looking for exceptional customer service and a team that truly values its clients.

  Reflecting on the nearly three years I’ve spent banking with NBAZ, I am filled with such genuine gratitude. In a world that often feels increasingly automated and distant, finding a bank that still prioritizes the human touch is a true gift. There is a profound sense of comfort in knowing that when I reach out by phone, a real person will be on the other end of the line to help in a neighborly way. It is such a relief to set aside the frustration of voice prompts and long hold times for the simple kindness of a direct conversation. Walking into the River/Campbell branch is always the highlight of my day. I’m consistently moved by how I am treated because the staff truly makes me feel like I matter. I always look forward to my visits just to experience the warm reception and dedicated service provided by Mathew, Virginia, Rachael, and the rest of the wonderful team. To me, the River/Campbell branch is more than just a place to manage my finances. It’s the "Cheers" of banking, a community hub where you feel seen and valued. Sometimes, you really do want to go where everybody knows your name, and I’m so thankful I found that at this very special NBAZ branch!!!

  I was referred to National Bank of Arizona as a place to open a business account. My wife and I met with Rachael, the branch manager and business manager. My wife and I feel three or four guarantees were made by Rachael to get us to sign up for the business account. We were guaranteed our funds would be available next day, then in three to four days, and it actually took a little over a week. Once our founds were finally available, we didn't have our debit cards so I had to use Zelle or wires to transfer money to other businesses and myself. This was also difficult because the banks Zelle department repeatedly froze my Zelle account due to "risky" transactions even though I was sending money to myself or other verified Zelle participants that I had previously Zelle'd. While opening our initial business account, before we were aware of the issues, we decided to open three other accounts... another business account and two joint personal accounts. WE were told those accounts would be available for use after 48 to 72 hours. They were never available. All return contact from the branch manager, Rachael, ceased until she reached out to make me aware we couldn't have a business account with their bank. That was about a month after opening the initial business account, and three weeks after our initial issue with her. Now, ironically, after being told we could no longer do business with their bank, Rachael was extremely helpful. My wife and I are extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism we received during our brief time at National Bank of Arizona.
