  Is it just me or is the customer treated as a burden and "utter nousence" these days to most large or small businesses? I feel like I am a parasite everytime I shop. Offering no courtesy, compassion or appreciation. Customer service is beyond dead. My PNC Back story: I went in to open an account I was told to schedule an appointment with a banker and come back another day I did and sat down with the banker providing all my information clearly. I go in months later and the teller tells me after acting confused because he could not find my account which made no sense, I was told your account has been closed. I was shocked closed for what reason "I don't know" you're going to have to call PNC to find out there's nothing I can do on my end now that it's closed. so of course I had many questions and the teller could not answer them he said, I would have to schedule another appointment with a banker mind you there was no customer in the bank this Branch rarely had customers while I was in it. So I called PNC 1-800 number and got transferred hung up on the whole regular ordeal to be told in the end that there's nothing they can do on there and now I would have to go into a branch directly and have them call the main line. I thought to myself unbelievable, so I had a flood of questions for the guy on the phone which told me there's nothing he can do now on his end, I had to go into the bank. So now I called the bank and once again I have to schedule an appointment with such a busy banker, so my question to the bank teller on the phone was can you look up the information I provided opening the account and yes of course the information was there my mailing and my physical address, in which the account was closed because they could not verify my address. I told the banker why can't you just use the money you sent to the physical address that never came because I was clear with the banker my mailing address for all my businesses, can you use the check and reopen the account he said it would be a lengthy process and I need to schedule the appointment with a banker! Quote unbelievable! Situation is still not resolved as of this second, I don't complain unless necessary to share my story. What a terrible experience, goes to show why nobody uses banks like these anymore. A pure run around, time list and total frustration I had no hand in creating. I wish I could get my wasted time back in the form of $7,493. Have a better experience than I.

  Avoid this bank. Since PNC took over BBVA the service is horrible. Customer service does not care or have a clue. They are fee happy and crooks, I recommend going with Capital One or Discover Checking.

  My account was hacked and John, the branch manager, sat down with me for over 2 hours with only one teller on staff to help me out. Amazing staff!
