  August 11, 2026 (approx. 2:00 PM): August 11, 2026 (approx. 2:00 PM) I regularly use the drive-thru teller for deposits because the ATM rarely accepts them, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. After placing my deposit in the box, the teller took an unusually long time to respond. During the wait, I could hear a man loudly and angrily yelling it seemed to be coming from inside the bank. When the teller finally returned to process my transaction, he was noticeably upset and dismissive. He informed me that I needed to provide a physical ID for future deposits a requirement that has never been requested of me before, even though I always carry mine. The way he said it felt like he was trying to scare me off and take out his anger just because he actually had to do his job. It was obvious he was upset about having to work, and his attitude made me feel like I was a major inconvenience. It makes no sense, especially since I already had to show my ID to open my account in the first place. Requiring it all over again at the drive-thru feels like a confusing double standard that penalizes customers for using available services.

  I visited the Metro location today before noon 7/7/26 to make a deposit, but as usual, the ATM was out of order for deposits. I drove around to the drive-thru, where the intercom screen has been completely black for over a week. Unfortunately, the service was just as broken as the equipment. After pressing the call button five times, the teller on duty finally answered. It was before noon, yet she sounded completely exasperated to do her job literally huffing and puffing into the mic. When she did speak, she whispered so quietly I could barely hear her, and finished the transaction with a sarcastic, condescending "Have a good day, ma'am." This isn't my first bad experience with this specific teller (the woman who typically works the left counter inside). A month ago, when I asked her about opening a business account, she gave me a disgusted look and condescendingly snapped, "That's only for business owners," assuming | didn't qualify. Between the broken machines, the non-functioning drive-thru screens, and the consistently hostile, superior attitude from the staff, this branch is entirely mismanaged.
