  A huge “Shout Out” and “Thank You” to Courtney Betz, Branch Manager at the Flagstaff Downtown Branch of National Bank. I recently discovered an error on one of my accounts and went into the branch to talk to someone. When I got there, I spoke with Courtney, who instantly identified what the problem was, and then immediately started working on correcting the mistake. Courtney was sympathetic to my concerns, kept me apprised of what the bank was doing to fix it, and continuously updated me as to when I could expect a resolution of the matter. Courtney is extremely knowledgeable and has a great deal of expertise within the banking industry. She also takes customer service to a whole other level! Thanks again, Courtney; your help was most appreciated during an extremely stressful situation!

  Branch Service Manager Lucy Whitley-Mott went above and beyond the call of duty helping me set up a payment option for my business account. Neither of us had done this particular task before, and the process lasted about 90 minutes. Not only did she accomplish the task I needed, she did so with grace and a sense of humor that was appropriate. We ended up laughing a lot during this time, which made the entire experience doable and enjoyable. At a time when most American corporations seem to think that customer service is a quaint relic from the past, and offer instead chatbots and AI, NBA provided me a meaningful human interaction and experience, beyond the business task at hand, which is unusual in today’s business environment. I am confident Ms. Whitley-Mott has a very bright and successful future in front of her. It is my recommendation that NBA value this employee and do everything in its power to nurture her in management and keep her employed at the bank!

  Jacob and Anthony, who work at this location are amazing. However this bank, in general, SUCKS. for the last 8 months, NBAZ has caused countless issues with my accounts. I have wasted hours of my time going into the branch, calling & emailing, and being on hold asking for help. Do not use this bank if you want to receive correct information on opening a second credit card/reviewing current accounts or transactions. Do not use this bank if you ever plan on leaving northern Arizona. NBAZ can (and will) ruin your credit/make your life so much harder than it needs to be, and they won’t take responsibility for it. They do not communicate appropriately or respectfully and they seem to enjoy wasting peoples time maybe in hopes that the person will just give up. P.S. Customer service (any extension) is supposed to take note of every call with a bank client. I have called upwards of 15 times since an issue that occurred in July 2023, this does not include the multiple visits into the branch in regard to the same issue, and NBAZ has still claimed to know nothing about their mistake or my communications as there are no notes in my client file. Trust me, please take your money somewhere else, please. I am begging you lmao save yourself. I wish I never set foot in NBAZ 10 years ago. Thank you, Anthony and Jacob, for doing your best for your customers despite the poor supervisors who run your branch and the company overall.
