  Since I started with this bank the experience and service has been subpar. Every time I contact customer service or go into a branch, there are low energy people who don’t make me feel valued as a customer. The initial experience was a phone chat from me asking about early direct deposit like most banks provide. I was told that “my deposit would be there when it’s there.” The last two interactions I was made to wait almost 30 minutes so a manager could approve a check written on my account without a $5 fee. Mind you this fee is charged every time I need a check. I had to ask my husband to come in before I was seen. So, because im a woman or black or whatever reason my time was wasted until I got my male husband to accompany me. I was then told that the $5 would apply and to avoid it i need to upgrade to an account with $25000 daily balance of $5k deposits. I’m just short of $5k by the way. This bank does not value its customers. They are always short staffed and the line staff act like you are a number and that they don’t want to be there. Horrible experience overall and i’ll be changing banks soon.

  Dawson that works the drive thru is simply amazing I absolutely love him he treats me so so so good calls me by my first name treats me like family I highly recommend PNC bank on 6th Ave Decatur Al he deserves a raise he is great with the customer's we all love him
