I selected CUTX to take over my auto loan because they had lower rates and that fit our budget. The account set up process and customer service since on boarding has been terrible. Very long customer service wait times an app and auto payment feature that is practically unusable, and constantly drafts my account without authorization. I would not recommend credit union of Texas at all if you plan to seek new auto loans or any banking services for that matter.

After being on hold for 45 minutes, I gave up and hung up. I just needed help with something simple, but couldn’t get anyone on the phone to help. This has happened more than once.

I asked him to email me the info so I could look it over but he never did, so I went with my current servicer and now have a bad taste in my mouth from CUTX.
