It’s long but true. I came here to enter a SDB and was informed of he process and that a POA was needed and would take two days to process. After 3 weeks pass and two PoA later I get a call to come. I leave work early and arrive at 4:25pm exactly.
One customer being serviced in the lobby no one else, so I sat down. (No hello, no one moment no nothing) 10 minutes later someone else walks in and they walk to the counter the at the desk says one moment. Then a guy comes out and ask where the teller is. She tells him I am next yet he pulls the lady who came after me. Then someone else comes in. Teller promptly greets her and starts to service her. We are now 25 minutes into my personal time. So I ask loudly. Who is the branch manager. A lady comes from her office nearly 3 steps away and then tells me she will handle it. Only to tell me there is a delinquent balance that no one told me about when they called me to come. Nor did they mention 3 weeks prior.
Now if it’s a balance owed I have no issues paying it. But isn’t this something someone should inform you day one. Not after you urgently leave your job at the whine of a call and drive 40 minutes to finalize items? This is horrible service. Very unprofessional and I would never ever bank with pnc. And had it not been for the business at hand I would certainly not have come to this place. And have no plans to return. Do better today was a total waste of my time and gas! And yes I paid whatever they asked for got the stuff and left. Pitiful
Let me update and add that after sitting there an hour they didn’t tell me that in order for me to make the payment with my debit card. There are additional fees that nobody told me about three weeks ago earlier today or even after an hour of me sitting in the lobby, so I had to drive to my bank to withdraw funds and have them wait for me because of the lack of communication. I highly suggest you stay away from this facility.

I wish I didn't even have to get one star, never had an issues dispositing and or cashing a check at a PNC before but the staff at this location is poorly trained and understaffed. Wasted 15 minutes for the lady to tell me she couldn't do it. Will not be returning to this location. Makes me guess my choice in this bank.

Do Not bank here . Save yourself the hassle . The ATMs are trash , they take your money and make you wait 10 business days to get it back . They don’t have 24/7 customer service so if something happens with your account over the weekend you can’t get assistance . They don’t offer temporary cards if you need a replacement and you have to wait 10 business days to receive a new one . Not to mention customer service is horrendous . Their ATM “retained” my money and they can’t even be courteous enough to replace until the Machine is serviced . I will be closing this account at my earliest convenience .
