- NNNicholas NguyenAug 23, 20251.0Sorry PNC you just lost my business. What started out as a promising visit quickly turned to a waste of time. Made an appointment to open a business account during the week. The manager was having computer issues so they put us with another banker, Josephine, who started off the conversation with an attitude. I explained how I already had an application filled out, so was hoping we could just do the verification. She was frustrated saying that they can’t just pull the application. I asked then if we could just open the account because we were all present. She let us know that they can’t just open the account in the branch and that we’d need to have a specialized banker do it for us. When I registered for the appointment, I specified the type of account I wanted to open and they had plenty of notice to have the banker they needed onsite. She said he wasn’t there and we’d have to do it on Monday. We were planning this for a while and ended up with such a sour experience, we will not be back. Unfortunate because we had high hopes for PNC, but customer service, especially when we’re trying to open a business account, is our top priority.
