They're just like any other bank they are hidden fees that they won't tell you about but I haven't found a bank that doesn't do that yet.
Update: March 2026 I told them I did not want them to mail me bank statements and they said no problem. Then I received two or three every month and was charged $3 each for every one they sent me..
I got a call from the branch manager and I told her that they would NOT stop sending my statement in the mail.. even though I told them NOT to because my neighbors were stealing it!
She said she would DEFINITELY make it stop AND refund my money, and that made me happy.. UNTIL I got the next statement in the mail a few weeks later... So, so far she said they would refund me around 35.00 or so BUT I've NEVER seen the money AND they are STILL sending me and charging me for statements!!!
This is NOT a mistake THIS seems very intentional..but I'm about to have to switch Banks JUST because PNC BANK IN SAN AUGUSTINE TEXAS will NOT STOP CHARGING ME 3.00 SOMETIMES TWICE A MONTH BECAUSE I GET TWO STATEMENTS NOW SOME MONTHS!
BTW I went paperless from the VERY beginning because I did NOT want bank statements mailed because I don't trust my neighbors because they steal my mail.
And well I was writing this review coincidentally I JUST received another one statement this Friday the 13th in the mail.
My neighbor handed me one that he said showed up in HIS mailbox around a week ago.. so I have to get back in touch with the branch manager ASAP or find a new bank because they will NOT listen to my requests to just SIMPLY stop mailing my bank statement because people steal it AND try to steal my identity with it.. and they just keep mailing it!
No matter what I tell them. Even if they promise they're going to refund me and stop doing it.. they haven't done either one yet. And I need to find a new bank I guess.
I'll change THIS review if they change their actions. And give me the refund they already said they would but haven't yetsmh I'm sure they'll say well it shows we refunded it to you but I've got all my statements since they never stopped sending them and there's not been any money paid back.. so far.
EVERYBODY should definitely beware of PNC Bank in San Augustine Texas because they DON'T listen to the customer.. they want you to have an account with them so they can mail you $3 statements, sometimes up to 2 or 3 a month, EVERY month.
It's been a headache that I don't want to bother with ANYMORE.
Plus they moved their outside ATM machine BASICALLY within 20 ft of a dark alley. I thought it was NOT the brightest idea BUT now I have to go there to get money out of the ATM at night time and there's always somebody watching me and it creeps me out and I'm NOT going to keep doing it.
It was fine where they had it before.. they've made a few changes so far. But in my opinion not good changes.. nobody wants to go to an ATM that has four cameras directly above it watching me put my PIN number in every time.smh
