A perfect experience from the moment I walked in—starting with the teller, who greeted me warmly and even offered me water and coffee. I was then assisted by Gage Dunphy, who was exceptionally kind and professional. It’s refreshing to meet someone who conveys genuine trust, respect, and friendliness. He truly listened to what I had in mind and understood exactly what I was hoping to achieve. Authentic listening is such a rare quality these days, and Gage has it. The information he provided gave me full confidence in the decision I was about to make. I believe he’s an outstanding example of what excellent service looks like—someone other banking professionals could truly learn from. I had visited another branch of this credit union before, and while the service there was good, this experience set a much higher standard. Gage made the entire process incredibly smooth, simple, and fast. Thank you!

I really wanted to like my local credit union, but their customer service is honestly so bad it makes me want to close my account. After waiting 30 minutes on hold, I was lied to multiple times on their policies. If you have a bad policy, own up to it instead of blaming everyone else involved.

We came here because my mom's workplace had the Credit Union of Texas listed on her benefits. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, the teller working the front desk was extremely dismissive and condescending towards my mom when she found out where she works. She refused to let us speak to a banker, even after my mom left and returned with her phone to show where her workplace was listed as eligible for an account. We were initially willing to wait, but the teller was so rude and judgmental, that we decided we won't be opening accounts here. Oh, and it turns out, my mom's workplace WAS eligible for an account, even if there was monthly fee. The teller told my mom, she just didn't want to "waste her time."
