Well it gets a 5 for appearance and amount of people working. Haven't had enough time to judge service.

I waited for 30 minutes in the lobby, but no one came to meet with me. I was the only person sitting there when a white gentleman arrived, signed in, and was called to see someone within seconds. Meanwhile, I continued to wait and eventually decided to leave.
I only needed to get a replacement card, but I won't be returning to the Mesquite branch. I'll be sticking with the downtown branch from now on.

My boyfriend came in to deposit $4,100 cash — money I counted multiple times before walking in. A teller on her SECOND DAY of employment processed my deposit unsupervised, with a handwritten cheat book in front of her, and somehow the machine came back $200 short. No one came to discuss the discrepancy with me — they just handed me a receipt for $3,900 and called it a day. The lead disappeared to the back the moment I raised the issue. I was told 30 minutes for an audit. Nearly an hour passed with zero callback. Couldn’t even reach the branch by phone — goes straight to corporate. Came back in person and got pushback from staff and the assistant manager. It is now well over an hour later and they are JUST NOW doing the audit. Absolute failure in training, supervision, and basic customer service. Avoid this branch. This is thanks to A Mexican woman with glasses who started working there two days ago with an instruction manual on how to run a bank. unfortunately.

Really disappointed and disturbed by my experience with CUTX. I was approved for an auto loan and waited for them to send the contract over for me to sign so I could pick up my check. Everything went smoothly until I received a call informing me that they were not going to proceed with financing my loan due to what they claim was a fraudulent ID even though my ID is legal and valid. When I submitted my ID, I scanned it using the notes app on the iPhone and it happened to add underlines to all of my information that weren't actually there. I tried to send proof that the notes app added these lines, I had a woman at the credit union scan my ID with their scanner to send in, and they pretty much said that it was too bad with no further explanation or apology for wasting so much of my energy, time and effort. I was told I'd receive a call from the manager, never did. I tried to call myself, but each time I tried, he was conveniently on the phone with someone else. My ID is legal and valid and there is zero reason why my loan should have been revoked from me. Really unreasonable and unfair business practices here. Highly recommend exploring other options before doing business here.
