  Up to this point I’ve been very happy with my service. Recently, I moved into a house and I need to pay my rent by Zelle. It is what the property manager has asked. There is a $500 limit on Zelle transactions. I have repeatedly asked for clearance to up my limit starting at the teller and going up to management. They will not permit it. I initially thought this was perhaps due to some safety issue so bad people can’t make you Zelle them . Now I think it is because they want the fee from making me go to get a cashiers check on MY MONEY! They don’t seem to care that it is what both parties want no nor do they care that this is an imposition for me because I have to take time off work to deliver the check. I am looking in to switching banks on this issue alone. Historically credit unions were known for outstanding service, that is no longer the case.

  What a poor excuse for a financial institution. You can’t get anyone on the phone and chat takes forever. Someone called me and apologized for the difficulty contacting them and she gave me a refund for some unexpected chargers. I hope next time I have better luck contacting them. Review updated from 1 star to 3.

  As far as the McKinney Branch of CUTX, Kyle Gonzales was or has been OUTSTANDING!! I have had an issue with getting my online banking issue corrected. Kyle has went beyond the call of duty to get my issue resolved. I have not been able to have full access to my accounts for almost 5 or 6 month until today. Honestly, if it was not for him I would have closed all my accounts and found another banking home. Hopefully they will find more like him to continue to put the customer first. Appreciate you Kyle!!

  Subject: Exceptional Service from Kyle - Went Far Above and Beyond I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible service I received from Kyle at this branch. My experience was nothing short of extraordinary and deserves to be recognized. I came in close to closing time (around 4 PM) needing a cashier's check for a personal matter. The process involved some complex paperwork, and it took much longer than anticipated, stretching right up to the 6 PM closing time. When many employees would be looking to leave, Kyle demonstrated unbelievable commitment and kindness. He assured me he would help me get what I needed. He didn't just go through the motions; he took full ownership of my problem. He made calls to different locations to get everything sorted and even politely asked his fellow tellers to stay a little later to assist. Kyle stayed until 6:33 PM, well past closing, to ensure I walked out with my cashier's check in hand. His effort was completely above and beyond his job description. What truly stands out is his selfless, humble, and positive attitude throughout the entire process. He never made me feel like an inconvenience. I have visited other branches, but Kyle's dedication is unique. He is a tremendous asset to your team and embodies the highest standards of customer service. He single-handedly turned a potentially stressful situation into an experience that has secured my loyalty to this bank. Management, please recognize Kyle for his outstanding work.
