- AVAndrea ValenciaApr 15, 20261.0Absolute worse customer service from the teller, Amber. Went in two days in a row and she didn’t even say hello either time. The first time she didn’t even make eye contact. I told her I needed to cash a check. She typed in her computer for over 5 minutes and then asked for my ID. She was not able to contact the customer so couldn’t cash the check. No big deal… Came back the next day… this time I walked up to her window and all she said was: what can I help you with? I told her I needed to cash the check we were not able to cash the prior day. She rolled her eyes and said: “ok, as long as they answer the phone this time”. Uhm, ok… she them called the customer to verify issuance. They answered the phone, she began to speak and then said the customer blatantly hung up on her and she wouldn’t call again. Mind you, the check was issued by a large corporation, not an individual and I could still hear them talk while she hung up the phone. She called the manager who just said they couldn’t cash it until they talked to somebody. I just left.
- TMTimothy MournianMar 30, 20261.0I have had good success with Amegy bank, in general. But the computer based assistance and the refer to refer to refer again tel tag system is unbelievably bad! I spend 35 min on phone today, with 5 different people, only because I wanted to know the interest rate on my commercial Line of Credit. You tell me is this is good service or practice? The local branch in Magnolia, my branch; did finally get things moving, but by the way, the computers were down. The end result: NADA, nothing that I called about was provided. I'm hoping that the local branch will outshine the rest of this tel based help system; it is horrible.
