My experience with CUTX. You are not able to call in an discuss your account. They make you make an appointment for a phone conversation. The gentlemen I spoke with did not understand why on one screen it said my HELOC payment was $3,400 and on the pay screen it was $3,650.
If you make more than the above dollar amount payment you can not make another payment on the online system with in the billing cycle, even if waiting makes you late on your bill. They will be happy to charge the late fees though.
I was told I could drive to a branch and make a payment, so I did. The branch rep asked if I was paying Cash or Check. I said my bank debit card. She said we don't take that, only cash or check. I thought what was this the 1980's.
So I had to call in again, they want me to make a phone appointment, to make the pay my bill because I have exceeded the amount they let you pay in 30days. Then charge $18 because I called to make a payment.
I don't know why anybody would want to do business with this company. They suck at systems, customer service.
Don't use them.

I do not believe deleting this review altogether is warranted as they requested. I will soften it though.
Accomplishing simple things with CUTX is incredibly difficult. You cannot resolve simple customer service matters without an appointment, and you cannot do basic things online like you can at other establishments
For numerous reasons, I would not recommend using CUTX. Your experience may vary though.

Extremely Poor Communication and Customer Service – Wasted My Time
I scheduled an 11:30 AM appointment at CUTX Castle Hills branch to open a checking account and took time off work to be there. Upon arrival, I was told the system was down, and Ashley suggested leaving my name and number so they could call me once it was back up. I received no call all day.
By chance, I stopped by around 4 PM (since I was nearby) and learned the system had actually been restored since 2 PM—over two hours earlier! Had I not come back in person, I would have had no idea and would still be waiting for a call that never came.
This complete lack of follow-through and basic communication is unacceptable, especially when customers rearrange their schedules and lose paid work time. Very disappointing experience—zero accountability or courtesy shown. I expected far better service.

Magan Lynch is an excellent account supervisor. Her customer service is not only impeccable but it is also beyond reproach.
