I just called the PNC La Centerra location and about opening a business account. I spoke with Steven, who informed me that I would need to email my business documents first, in order to get an appointment to open account. Being new to this process and reluctant to blindly send such personal documents to someone’s email, I asked why was this necessary and could I bring my documents with me when I get the appointment. Steven replied “If you want to do it your way, you can just go to another bank.” I can’t believe that someone thinks this is an acceptable response to a potential customer for asking literally one question. This was totally unprovoked and out of line. I wasn’t being rude towards him, so I can’t understand why I received this type of treatment.
I had looked at several other banks before deciding on PNC, however after this experience, I most certainly will be taking Steven’s advice and go with a different bank.

I'm surprised by some of the comments. I've worked with just about every banker at this branch and they are superb. I've used the automated teller or the regular ATM multiple times to deposit checks. The two times I had a problem, one of the live bankers came and helped me to ensure that the deposit was made correctly. Every business meeting has been helpful with my small business. I recommend this branch to my friends and business associates.

rhys was really helpful when i needed to get a new debit card and helped with my billing issues related on my checking account, no idea why i was put on an account with such high minimums after the bbba merger

This bank is the worst bank that I have ever done business with. The teleteller botched a withdrawal and they removed my money from my account, did not give it to me and told me that it would not be restored to my account for 10 days. Of course I protested, but they refused to do the right thing. It made no sense. I will be going to a new bank as soon as possible.
