Absolutely shady refused to open my account because she said I was in early warning systems called them and I wasn’t so I guess she was just hating on a black man trying to get an account for direct deposit worse branch ever so I went to another Pnc and they opened the account

When I walked in I was greeted by a older American woman asking what I needed. I said I need to cash a check. She asked if I had an account. I said no and she said she cannot do a cashiers check for a non member. I said again I’m here to cash a check. And she said yet again that I could not do a cashiers check. It seemed she was just coming from a place of no and not really listening to what I was saying. I once again said I needed to cash a check and she said well it HAS TO BE A PNC check and I said yes it is. She then said that the teller could help me and that it would be a 2% fee which I was ok with. As I waited another woman walked up from her desk and asked if I needed teller services or a banker. I said I’m trying to cash a check and she smiled and turned her back to walk away. The teller, a young African American/Hispanic man, was kind, polite, and assisted me through the process. Honestly this young man was the only positive experience I had there. I bank with Chase but had a refund check from my college from PNC. I was affirmed to why I bank with Chase and I honestly feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with this bank specifically this location. Yes I may not have an account but I am a customer with your bank money and at least deserve to be treated with decency. Also if there are two people sitting at their desks doing nothing maybe there are too many people on shift and the bank could save some money by cutting their schedule. Happy Holidays.

After the buyout from BBVA to PNC, the quality of the service and software has dropped dramatically. I've spent over 5 hours, 3 phone calls, and two visits trying to set up a recurring weekly transfer from my bank account to another. They were clearly unprepared for the transition.
