  Don’t let this happen to your family trust. My father chose PNC Bank for his trust. He passed away on Nov 15,2024. My sister was the trustee and me and my brother were successor trustees. When my sister wrote the checks from the trust account to distribute the inheritance, PNC Bank returned the checks and said they were “altered/fraudulent”. I was the first sibling that was returned and my bank (RBFCU) then cut off my access to my account. I notified the other siblings so they could warn their bank and avoid getting cut off. PNC Bank had a limit on wire transfers so my sister obtained a cashier check for me. I attempted to cash the cashier check in a PNC Bank branch and was told that they would not honor the cashier check. A bank that won’t honor their own cashier check is a crooked bank. Don’t let your loved ones have an account with PNC Bank. Report them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

  I went to hoping to open a business account online it says open until 1pm but the door says closed Saturdays??? Make it make sense.

  Have been a loyal PNC customer since 1990’s. Unfortunately I am closing all of my accounts with them because of their lack of honoring an interest rate on a 4 month CD. My renewal paperwork was mailed to address provided on their letter. They say they never received the renewal contract through the mail and only gave me .01% on my CD. There are plenty of other banks that have higher CD rates.
