Honestly with BBVA i really like them, the staff is friendly and ive never had an issue. My problem is with PNC my account went from free to having to pay for checking unless i have a high enough monthly balance. Sure if your balance is high enough every month they wont charge you but when you have multiple accounts then that gets hard to just have $1000-1500 you cant use without getting hit with charges. The app is no good, cant access account details and getting on the phone with a person is very difficult. If it weren't for the corperate descions to run the place id give 5 stars for customer service, if it wernt for customer service id have given 1 star. If it wernt for the fact theyre my oldest accounts and i need them open right now id go elsewhere Update, been a few months and I still hate it. Probably well over a year. Whenever the did the switch. Really it's cause of the app, cant use it pretty much after 11 which stinks because I get off work at midnight

If you are looking for a competent, helpful and knowledgeable bank in which to entrust your hard-earned money, run....don't walk....to any other bank than BBVA. My mother made the major mistake of banking with them for years. When she was hospitalized in August of this year, it took BBVA 3 and 1/2 weeks to finally accept my Power of Attorney so I could assist in her financial affairs. Three and 1/2 weeks of going back and forth between the branch and their corporate legal department as no one could decide what documents were necessary to suit the legal department's standards. At one point, I was told I would have to have my mother come in to approve the POA even though she had just had emergency surgery the day before. I thought things could not get any worse from that experience which caused me to lose valuable time with my mother. I was wrong. After her subsequent death, and as her executrix of the estate, I discovered that the local branch could not handle the closing of her accounts and distribution of beneficiary accounts until "legal" had a chance to review everything for 3-5 days....a process her other banks had been able to accomplish in 2 hours. After a total of 8 hours spent in their office over a 2 day period, I was able to get that 3-5 days expedited only because I live over 1300 miles away from El Paso. What I thought was the final straw was when in reviewing the accounts, it was discovered that the proper paperwork had not been uploaded to corporate on two of her accounts which had been opened in 2014 and therefore, her wishes for beneficiaries would not be honored by corporate. Although the branch office fully acknowledged its mistake, nothing could be done to correct the matter. Today was, I believe, the final straw. It has been 2 weeks since my in-person experience where all appropriate probate documentation was given to the branch to close her cash accounts. Today, when calling corporate to get the payoff on her one loan, I was unable to be given that information since they had no record on file of her death and probate. My mother's past faith and confidence in this bank have been disgracefully mismanaged and I would hate to see other clients (and their families) have to experience the same

I have 3 bank accounts now with this bank because of their SUPER PHENOMENAL customer service. I opened my first bank account 2014 July while riding in a car talking to a banking agent on the phone and they had all my papers ready to sign when i arrived. Then, 4 years later, I was allowed to open 2 more accounts by phone and simply do an e-signature to complete the process and never step foot in the bank. This location has always been fine. Be sure to hit your like button for my review if you find it helpful. Thank you, Chris Grohusko, published and past contracted photographer and astronomer for Canon Cameras Tokyo Japan, National Geographic Magazine Washington D.C., and Discovery Channel agency Lion Tv New York City.
