I came by today to try and catch up on my past due balances. The bank stated that the department left early today, and so they would not be accepting my payment. Sounds like discrimination. So, the bank is essentially open to some customers to take payments, but not to customers who are trying to avoid more late fees by paying their bill. I'm not surprised. And this was after telling me to go use the atm outside to withdraw the money, because they don't accept other bank cards. I'm simply using this site for documentation at this point.
New (1st New):
The bank has terrible customer service in general. I don't want a reply here. Tired of the bank's gaslighting as a whole, not just the location. If they want to, they have my information and will reach out to contact me directly.
Old:
CUTX is a very manipulative bank. They are always causing issue with stupid policies. The most recent issue I am having, is that my car payment is late; so they decided to go to my seperate checking account and remove the ability for me to use my checking account to transfer the money to my car loan account to pay the bill. Meanwhile they will blow up my phone asking when I will pay the bill. Similarly, they won't accept their own debit card. Not too long ago, I asked for a card that can't OVERDRAFT. They asked me to sign documents on a screen that wasn't facing me, so I never confirmed it. Turns out they never did the paperwork properly. As a result, I got charged a LOT of over draft fees I could not afford. They then decided to dip into my credit card account to punish me for not paying for the over draft fees. It's already irritating that these overdraft fees should not have been possible, but also, the bank was so slow in updating transactions, despite the app always claiming to have had "updated" information. Terrible service. I absolutely hate this bank. Oh, and I'm only writing this because they once again have NOT responded to my chat messages on their application. Then they'll be blaming me for additional late days. Guy, don't be fooled. Just search all the comments and you will see the 3, 2, and 1 star reviews. When you do, you will notice a clear pattern. It's a shame that one has to put their business online to be heard, but I won't be bullied by yet another company into silence at my own expense. I absolutely hate this bank, and will be closing all but my autoloan imminently. Soon, I'll be refinancing that as well.

Slow slow slow!!! Waiting 2 hours just to ask a question, only two people there to help you and they take 2 hr with each person. Seems like it's done purposely so you can get up and leave... Rude, slow, unprofessional having people wait this long. Also nobody knows nothing over the phone they are clueless and don't answer, I called for two days and no answer, then was asked to come to the branch where nobody has answer and had to wait 2hrs for a quick question they should be ashamed of their services... IT SUCKS!!!!!!

Such a bad experience since I've opened my account here period for starters paid all kinds of fees for overdraft. More than any other bank I have banked with. Had to change my account number due to a fraud situation that I had experienced and had to fill out an ACH form to receive my direct deposit from the IRS. I have went through hell trying to receive this payment for my refund finally it comes to the day where I'm supposed to receive my tax refund and my bank does not let the IRS deposit my refund into my account? I don't get it this has put me in the worst situation really needed this refund for my family and credit Union of Texas screwed up again. Worst bank ever I will be taking my business somewhere else very soon.
