If I could leave a ( Negative - 5 ) star review I would. This is the WORST credit union I have ever been with and compared to other credit unions. The wait time is so long, you can’t hardly ever talk to an agent on the phone to get anything rectified regardless of the issue. You have to schedule an appointment for everything or come in person. I can’t even withdraw money off my debt card at the atm that they own. That is highly inconvenient and dangerous when it comes to people money. My last experience with this branch has officially caused me to be done with credit union of Texas. I scheduled an appointment at 5pm with (Clarissa Romero ) and I was 7 mins EARLY. I waited 42mins past my appointment time. Only for her to have the audacity to come out and say she has another appointment and I didn’t need to come into her office. “ EXCUSE ME” ? It’s 5:42pm. Everyone else who had an appointment was able to go into offices but I couldn’t. I felt profiled. I opened my account over 60 days ago and has yet to receive the “ $250 bonus “ they’re (FALSELY ADVERTISING) and I have talk with 3 different Tellers who confirmed I already met the qualifications for the bonus and i should’ve received it by now. I have requested a call back from the manager 2 times and has yet to receive a follow up. However (Clarissa Romero) claimed shes going to stay on top of it. But I will be filing a compliant with the BBB & CFPB, because this is ridiculous.

I applied for a credit card increase on February 24. The loan person that took my information name was ZEE as of today, March 5 it has not been posted to my credit card. I spoke with Ruben March 2. I spoke with Evelyn Garcia, the assistant manager at the branch on March 3rd. As of today, March 5, it’s still not apply. This is total and acceptable. My name is Marquinez Kendrick And I have been a customer for over 20 years

Zacarra “Zee” Mack is phenomenal. She always makes my visit a very enlightening and informative experience. She’s always very professional, knowledgeable and she genuinely cares about her clients. Thumbs up 👍 , CUTX!

CUTX has to be the worst Credit union i’ve ever dealt with. You have to schedule a time to talk to customer service through the phone. They do nothing but charge fees. Everything is catered towards their aging account holder population. Once those people age out, their membership base will be next to nothing. don’t see good things for this place.

Information is always getting compromised with this bank. Long wait times in person and on the phone. no consumer protections from fraud. You'll always be denied if you file a fraud claim or chargeback if you experience fraud. Additional fees for making purchases from websites. Increases in the monthly premium JUST FOR HAVING AN ACCOUNT. Getting a card reissued after your account has been compromised is a hassle. Not only did I have to wait several hours to be helped after having money stolen from me at the MacArthur location, but I got no card to use and took an Uber to visit on of the few location. I was stranded there for 2 hours. January this year, my card information was compromised and I needed a new card. It's been a month and I've not received the card yet. I've banked here since I was young but now see it's time to change. I don't feel valued with CUTX. I have streaming services that cost me less per month than what this bank charges me for a checking account. Excuse any typos i may have made.
