Today, I received a call stating that half of the deposit would be placed on hold until January 30th. I have never had a returned or problematic check, and I also have multiple direct deposits regularly coming into my account. What made this situation worse was the interaction with Karen, who was abrupt and dismissive. I was treated as though my long-standing relationship and positive account history did not matter. This experience has significantly damaged my trust. As soon as time permits, I plan to close my accounts, transfer my auto and move my banking relationship primarily to my second financial institution as loyalty and history isn’t a factor here.
