- BGBonnie GonzalezSep 7, 20251.0I've been a customer for only 11 months and overall it's always pleasant, but today the ATM didn't take my $300 deposit not did it return it. They receipt said unable to return money contact financial bank. I did and what makes me upset is it can take 10 business days to investigate and respond, but 45-90 days to fully investigate. I wish $300 was nothing, but that's $300 I needed for bills now I have to wait. I'm clearly on the ATM footage trying to make a cash deposit, inserting the cash and it's obvious my account was not credited nor did I leave with any money back. I'm very unhappy at this point.

And then charge your customers high fees and then not update your systems regularly and cause confusion with how much money is in the bank? The app is unusable, the cards work when they want to. This bank is not worth it

I rated the bank one star because the teller advised me with a smile that they were shutting systems down already, and she was sorry. These 9am - 5 pm bank hours do not work for the majority, we work 8am - 5pm, with a 30 minute lunch. No availability for their customers! I know they want to go home too, yet 4:59 pm, is not 5 pm. At least some common courtesy for those in line that rushed through traffic.
- JKJustin KilmerDec 9, 20172.0I agree with several other reviews of the Ayers St BBVA Compass branch having slow service. I've experienced this a few times there. Once, I was the only person waiting for a teller to do a Paysource card transaction. With no one in front of me after I entered the bank, it still took approx 30 mins for them to take care of me. I've had several workers in this branch just look at me and then not even try to get anyone to help me. For Corpus, the BBVA Compass branch off SPID between Everhart and Staples in Moore Plaza is the place to go. They are always friendly and have fast service. The Bishop branch is very good too for those of you who travel that direction.
