As a member for over 40 years back at Dallas Teachers Credit Union This is the most frustrating CTUX I unfortunately have to visit. There is always a line and one teller. No one will cone in and help if there is a line. I stood here and watched the manager and the only teller consult a man on why he shouldn't send a wire to buy a car for 15 min. No common sense anymore

Telephone customer service is absolutely horrible and non-existent. The chat text messaging is even worse. An in-person appointment must be scheduled at a local branch to speak with anyone for an issue that could be quickly resolved over a 2-minute phone call. I've been a member for quite some time and it was not this way until recently. Does anyone have a recommendation for a credit union with amazing customer service?

I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with CUTX during my loan modification process with Johnny. It took almost two weeks for Johnny to return any type of communication. I had to visit the bank multiple times just to get updates.
I felt my time was not valued. I would NOT recommend Johnny as the loan officer and to ask for some one else. In the end the manager Mo had step in and help complete the loan modification process.

useless ai "customer support" has replaced any form of contacting real employees. tired of the account that i pay monthly fees for being entirely inaccessible, with no way to fix it other than chatbots stuck talking in loops

Truly terrible service. You have to jump through hoops to speak to a person because they now have a automated system that will not let you do anything because they want the auto system to take over Customer service. Their car loans are very dishonest. You’re better off going with Bank Of America - very straightforward and they have options to pay them off quickly. Their branches are not convenient. The people that work there are not efficient & have no idea what they’re talking about so they tell you anything. I would not recommend this Union to Bank at, to get a car loan, definitely not a home loan. You will end up paying double at the end of your loan or home loan if you do refinancing as well. so save yourself the trouble.
Oh, and their app is very difficult to use! And no the customer service number wont help either or you will wait a hour every time. If you have a quick question, just google.all locations are like this.
