Truly terrible service. You have to jump through hoops to speak to a person because they now have a automated system that will not let you do anything because they want the auto system to take over Customer service. Their car loans are very dishonest. You’re better off going with Bank Of America - very straightforward and they have options to pay them off quickly. Their branches are not convenient. The people that work there are not efficient & have no idea what they’re talking about so they tell you anything. I would not recommend this Union to Bank at, to get a car loan, definitely not a home loan. You will end up paying double at the end of your loan or home loan if you do refinancing as well. so save yourself the trouble. Oh, and their app is very difficult to use! And no the customer service number wont help either or you will wait a hour every time. If you have a quick question, just google.all locations are like this.

Magan Lynch is an excellent account supervisor. Her customer service is not only impeccable but it is also beyond reproach.

I’ve never seen a bank that you can almost never get anyone on the phone on top of being closed on the weekend.i shouldn’t have to sit on hold for an hour EVERY TIME. That’s extremely concerning especially when you have an ineffective app that locks for every damn thing. I’m this close to withdrawing my money and closing the account

Literally the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced these last few years with CUTX. They’re Johnny on the spot when you want to start a loan but if you need anything other than that they’re non-existent. DO NOT use CUTX unless you prefer for your financial institution to be unreachable. 30 minute hold times, missed appointments, attempt to replace customer interaction with AI and chatbots - the list goes on. The crux of my biggest complaint now is their lack of any willingness to resolve an issue solely caused by them and their subpar app. Tried to make a standard transfer like I do every month to pay a note/payment due. The app shows that the transfer cannot be made and to try again. It also asks to check the transfer history, nothing there either. I try again several more times and had zero luck until the day after. Lo and behold come Monday morning the transfer processed 5 individual times. Called CUTX and they said sorry, can’t do anything about it, thanks. Seriously? Dispute has been filed with my bank. The lack of care or concern on their end due to an internal flaw with their tech is alarming. I wouldn’t touch this financial institution with a 20’ pole in the future.

Avoid if you are a small business. Complete lack of understand of Texas Law and how LLCs operate. Tell tale sign that there is a lack of training in management, there won’t be a strong partnership in growing - especially in more complex scenarios.
