- AQAmy QuinnFeb 19, 20261.0Totally unprofessional. My mother receives a death benefit pension from a different state that has a state tax. Melinda filed her taxes to show she owed state taxes to that state. When I went back to her to get my mother's state taxes amended she refused and said she filed them correctly, and thats just how that state works. When I told her that other tax services have confirmed to me that my mother does not have to pay state taxes, Melinda told me to go to them instead. Very rude, very unprofessional.
