- KTKaralee TedrowNov 21, 20241.0I recently moved to TN about 3 months ago. I got in a DV relationship and got out about a month ago. I opened an account and explained to the woman at another branch my entire situation... She was wonderful. I have been in ongoing therapy for the DV and finally set up therapy back in PA, so that I would be able to leave the area and still receive support when I get back home. When I went in to close my account at this branch, Donna was accusing me of "suspicious activity" and I explained the DV situation once again. She rolled her eyes and said "I've heard this all before. It's extremely suspicious. No one opens an account and closes it two weeks later." Never once have I ever seen someone with less compassion or understanding for a situation. I asked if she wanted to see proof -- my keyed car, my protection order, police reports or pictures of the endless bruises I was left with. Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Thank god I closed my account, especially seeing how they treat people and the lack of understanding for a VERY serious situation. I don't see how it's suspicious when I thought I would be in the area for a longer period, but I am quite literally about to graduate from college in PA and have resources available up north so I don't have to live near my abuser anymore.

Not maintainable when you're running a business. Nice people at this branch though, which is why I have dealt with the technical issues this long
