  UPDATE: The money was in my savings through Carolina, same account, same bank with plenty to cover my transactions. YOU decided to block the transfers because I exceeded the 6 I get a month. I had to come to the bank withdrawl it and then deposit it and even your teller looked at me like ???.What a joke. Im in the processing of switching everything over. you will not SCAM another dime of my money. Also, your team did not work with me I had to email the REGIONAL manager and never got a call or email they just gave me two of the ELEVEN draft fees you STOLE. GOOD DAY SIR This bank makes money off draft fees. I have banked with WF for 8 years and never once did I have issues or $256 in draft fees. Had plenty in my savings but "too many transfers were made" so instead they charged me $256 in overdraft fees for 5 small transactions going into my money market account. 3 of them were $9 transactions... When I called and let them know opted out on overdraft protection I was told that either way they'd charge me the fees whether they cover the overdraft or not. I can not wait to switch everything over to South State. I only used them because they co op with my bank in Saratoga. Worst bank and management in the 30+ years. No one ever calls back..they just decline your request and move on. Will never recommend or use

  Athena, Cindy and Shay are hands down some of the most professional and friendly bank staff employees that I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. You’d be a fool not to bank here with these lovely ladies.

Cindy has taken care of my banking needs for so many years, and she deserves to be recognized for her work ethic, customer service, and absolute polite demeanor in every situation dealt to her at her job. Thank you Cindy! You are SO appreciated. Keep shining bright, you are an absolute angel!!!

  We have been going to the Surfside Branch and have always had a great experience. Cindi has been very welcoming and receptive to whatever our needs have been. She is a pleasure to deal with whenever we stop in to do any of our banking

  When I moved to Myrtle Beach in 2016, one of my first tasks was to join a credit union. I researched local options and opened an account with Carolina Trust. While they did not meet my expectations over the years, I have done limited banking with them for the last 10 years. Today the branch manager accused me of trying to commit fraud and perpetrating a scam when I in inquired about opening a new account to manage my wife's needs for in home care giver due to dementia. I told her I was offended by the accusation and told her I would look for other options. About an hour after arriving home a Georgetown police officer knocked on my door. He was dispatched in response a request for a wellness check from the credit union. At 5:00 today I tried to access my account online and found the message "Your Account has been Disabled". No call from the Credit Union or even a Text Message or email explaining their actions. NO WAY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS
