South Atlantic Bank was organized in 2007 to meet the unique financial needs of consumers in the coastal communities we serve. The bank’s founders recognized the growing number of larger regional banks in the market created an opportunity for a locally owned and operated community bank to succeed. Our headquarters is located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with branches in North Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet, Pawleys Island, Georgetown, Charleston, Bluffton, Hilton Head Island and Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Not only are the markets we serve some of the most beautiful, but also some of the fastest growing in the country.
