  Had an issue a while ago and talk to 3 people, each one saying they would call me back and no one EVER did. I just left the issue go. A rep said she would call when my CD needed to be renewed and she never did. Plus, they never called my daugher for a phone appt that my daughter had with them. Very unorganized.

  Multiple bad experiences over the years. Every visit where you need to see a banker has taken literally multiple visits and hours. Information about complex banking issues have almost always been relayed to me incorrectly. Since they will not allow you to do your own wires over $25K, I had to go to the branch and it took over 30 minutes for them to do a simple wire.

  Came in the other day to exchange cash for quarters for me and my partner(who has an account with PNC), as we needed them for our apartment complex’s laundry machines. I don’t have an account with PNC because I’m a student who already has other bank accounts with branches elsewhere, but I figured most banks wouldn’t mind exchanging cash for a couple rolls of quarters even if I did not have an account with them. Wrong. The manager I spoke to was extremely rude and condescending and refused to budge on their policy of no coins to someone who is not a “customer” even though I was there trying to get the quarters on behalf both myself and of my partner who was feeling very ill on the day in question, which is why I was there on my own in the first place. Ended up getting a roll from the customer service desk at Wegmans during my grocery trip instead, so much for an extreme coin shortage. Take your business elsewhere. You’ll get better customer service, lower fees, and better rates on any sort of account or loan at your local credit union.
