- BPBill PanagopulosApr 2, 20261.0Banking with these people has been positively one of the worst experiences of my 68 years. My account was summarily closed for making a topical political comment in a rural branch. I was sent a threatening letter, offered no opportunity to respond, my card was inactivated, and it took weeks to find out what my "awful transgression" was (I commented to a teller that crazed ICE agents were shooting blacks - a statement based in fact). The heavy-handed manner in which this senior citizen was treated was shameful, and now this shameful collection of "professionals" refuses to send me my bank records so that I may complete my taxes. They are a heartless bunch of "woke" automatons, as much as I hate to use that term. Use a local bank or credit union - big banks really don't care about you.
- LMLarry McCoyFeb 20, 20261.0Needed to have a document notarized so we could deposit a large sum of money from a pension fund into out account. Called the Indiana, PA on Ben Franklin Rd and the door receptionist/greeter said PNC would not notarize the document because it was not PNC related! Besides he said there was not a notary on duty. We asked to speak with the manager and she confirmed the PNC policy, but said if we bring the document in they could send to their team to see if it would qualify for notarization. We asked if she could make a call for the authorization, which she agreed to do. She also said there was not a notary on duty and if approval was given, we would have to make and appointment for next week. Waiting for an approval. Terrible service!
