- MBMatt burkeJan 18, 20251.0Staff is polite, however awful customer service. I take 20 minutes out of my day to walk over at noon on a Saturday to deposit savings bonds. Shontell (the teller) says savings bonds take too long to deposit (15 minutes) and they are closing at 1 PM (in one hour). Since there was only one other customer, it was surprising to hear the staff was "too busy" to assist a customer. Regardless how difficult to the process is, you get paid to work until 1 PM and assist customers, it is called client service. I have been banking with PNC for over 20 years, and this was my first experience working with an employee in person. Unfortunately, this one experience makes me want to change banking with PNC and work with a bank who is willing to assist clients.
