PNC Irwin branch does not answer the phone. I don't call because I want to chat? I have an issue that PNC bank needs to resolve but they will not answer the phone.

ATM wouldnt work. So i had to come inside to make a deposit....and stand in line for 20 minutes while the tellers took their time admiring the guy who brought his non-service dog into the bank. Worst location.

This is the worst bank. One teller open. Slow as molasses. I have a different account at Citizens, and I never have to wait. Every one seems incompetent when you call, and takes forever to get someone on the phone. Truly the worst banking experience that I have ever had. Would NOT recommend.

This is by far the worst bank I have ever had to deal with in over 20 years of banking. Save yourself time and stress and do not even considering banking here! My HORRIFIC experience-- I received an email regarding a promotion to open an account and receive $400 with qualifying deposits. I was looking to switch banks but was unsure of what route to go so I was excited for this opportunity. I scheduled an appointment at the branch to open an account. I have heard nothing but good things regarding PNC and was excited to transfer accounts over. The man who took care of me was new but did his best (which was horrible). He reviewed the email/coupon code I received and confirmed that I would in fact qualify for the $400 bonus. We agreed to sign up for the Virtual wallet with 3 accounts. He was having trouble opening/creating accounts so several times he had a supervisor come double check everything. What could possibly go wrong, right? WRONG!!! Once my appointment was complete, I automatically went home and transferred my direct deposits with my employer so that my next paycheck would be in my new account. I also deposited some cash so that I could start using the account immediately. The first 2 times I tried to use my card, it was declined. I was confused as to why since I had deposited a couple hundred dollars but since it was newly opened, it let it go for a few days. My next check is deposited and my card is declined again. I reviewed my online banking and noticed that all of my money was being put into my reserve account, not the checking. I reviewed account numbers and realized that the banker inputted the information wrong and mixed the two accounts up. With a supervisor assisting, how does this happen? Although frustrated, I didn't let this bother me. I did however, call the 1800# to ask what my next steps would be and also to ensure that this would not impact receiving the extra money for opening an account. The customer service rep was confident that it would NOT impact me receiving this money but told me to make sure I didn't make any changes to the account until I received the bonus. He advised that changing the accounts would mess up the system and it would not process. The details in the email outlined that it could take 60 days to receive this money, so I had to keep transferring funds to keep my card from declining. After a good amount of time and realizing I didn't receive the bonus, I called the branch. I got absolutely nowhere so I scheduled an appointment to go and talk to someone. This is extremely hard for me due to my work schedule & the bank hours but I made it work. The banker who assisted this time confirmed that the accounts were inputted wrong, but had the audacity to ask me why I had waited so long to get it fixed. I let him know that it was because of their customer service reps and that it was what I was told to do. He fixed the accounts but had to have a manager review the coupon. He had "never seen such a promotion before". The manager wasn't sure if I would qualify (despite being told otherwise at my initial appointment). She said she would talk to her managers and get back to me. She asked me to email her what I had received initially for her to review. She ended up getting back to me via email and said that I would not qualify for the $400 but I would for a $200 bonus. This is inaccurate and not what was told to me previously. I have made several attempts to contact her back as well as calling the branch directly and NEVER received the $200 she confirmed I qualified for (even though I qualified for the full $400) but what's worse is that anytime I call the branch to speak to a manager, no one is ever available and no one will return phone calls. I am working on closing my accounts with this bank and would never consider trusting them with my money again. If they cannot set up basic accounts or return phone calls/emails, how can I trust them with my finances?

Or "0" Stars would be more like it. This branch sucks. Usually go to Murrysville but was in the area and went here. Had to cash a check. Pull up to the vacuum tube at the drive through and 25 minutes later finally get my cash. The other line was able to serve 3 vehicles in a row prior to even acknowledging I was there. Not a single other car in the lot for inside service, so I should have just went in. Lessons learned. Don't go to this branch.
