  Absolutely terrible experience. Stay away! Wasn't going to leave a review but just now got yet another letter from 2023 that was not done right. Met with him up front and fed us a line of BS and then when it came to taxes, did not get them done on time. In fact, could not get a hold of him hardly at all over summer into fall and they finally got done just before the deadline in September. Charged more than he told us up front and also got several fees/interest charges from being late that they did not take care of. Charged around $700! more for quarters for the year than previous accountant when we were told it would be less. Now, just getting something from state that withholding was entered as 0 instead of what was actually reported. I wish I could leave a good review as I dislike leaving bad reviews, but this was a huge mistake changing to them and is still costing us money/frustration/time after 2 years. Be warned. Some fraudulent things going on here.

  I couldn't be happier with my experience with Brubaker Group. If I could give six stars there would be no hesitation. I had been going to another accountant downtown, for a number of years, and got majorly ripped off. So I looked on Google for another option and ran across this page. I sent an email, got a prompt response from Maurice, who (unlike my prior accountant) provided me with an estimate. I held off for a year, but decided to give them a shot this year and WOW what a difference. I sat down with Maurice to go over my paperwork. He was very polite and efficient. And today they called me to say they were done. The bill was 2.6 times less than what I paid at the old accountant and they did my local taxes at no additional charge. Now I realize how much I was taken advantage of the past few years. Ps: I saw a few other comments about poor service and I'm guessing it had to do with a very stressful situation the owner went through a few years ago. My own experience suggests that is all in the rearview mirror. They treated me very well and come highly recommended.

  Dropped off all paperwork in March. Still haven't received anything back.when we call they say they will get back with us. We bought a house and sold ours. Would like to know what we have to pay in.Here we are end of April.
