  Banker and AVP, Jamal guided me through a very difficult banking issue with patience and expertise. I would recommend this PNC branch a million times because of his professionalism and expertise.

  They wanted to charge me a fee to cash a check that my employer wrote to me directly from their bank. I have cashed countless checks at PNC that were issued by them and was never charged a fee. One time I cashed a check that was almost in dollars and I wasn't even charged a fee. This PNC wants to steal from you and they're crooks. This should be illegal. The staff is also very snotty and clearly doesn't want to make a customer out of me. They should provide this service for free if they wanted someone to enjoy their experience at their bank. Instead, I will never ever open an account with PNC again and I will tell everyone I know to use Capital One instead. In fact, that's probably why they i wanted to charge me a fee. Apparently they started a new policy where you have to bring two forms of id. My second form of ID was allowed to be a debit card from another company and so I pulled out my debit card from Capital One and that's when they told me about the fee. Surprise surprise. I love how a bank, where it's their job to do banking, want to charge you for the services that they offer for being a bank in the first place. SCAM ARTISTS.

  I stopped by here to get some cash from the ATM. This ATM was functional and clean. There was no line but the lane was a but small for a large pickup truck like mine to fit through without rubbing the sides of my tires on the curbside.

  I closed my account because I no longer used it, PNC charged me a $25 early closing fee because it was 2 months to early. The rep, I actually think it was the manager who closed my account, did not have the courtesy to tell me I would be charged a $25 fee. I should have checked my account balance but like I said I was not using it. I spoke with a customer service rep, they will not refund me, apparently the $25 fee is in the fine print. I called the Linglestown branch to speak with the manager, he was not willing to help me, I think he is the one who closed my account in the first place. I never received a penny from this bank, if they need my $25 that bad...keep it. My mother in law closed her account at that branch too, she was going to apply for a loan and decided not to but still received the approved loan amount in the mail. How did she get approved when she didn't go through with the process? Shady business.
