- RMRebecca MartinsenMar 21, 20261.0We went there for 2 years. First year was when we moved across state lines and had a complicated return. Second year was a simple return with 2 states. John forgot to do NJ returns after multiple reminders, as well as spelling my husband's last name incorrectly, we have the same last name and it was spelled correctly on mine. He doubled his price the second year after we made him aware of the mistakes on the returns, after not disclosing his price the second year. I understand prices go up, but professionally, if you double your price, you should disclose that prior to services. For a federal return and 2 states, he charged almost $450. He was rude, confrontational, and extremely defensive during our trips there. We had to bring 3 children under 6 there 3 times. 2 of the 3 times he had other people in the one room office at the same time as us, even though we had appointments scheduled.
