If this is someone's idea of what a bank should look and feel like, then I want no part of it. Was awkward and uncomfortable. Staff was friendly, except for the manager (I'm guessing) who was hovering behind like a prison warden. I contemplated passing the teller a note to blink twice if she was in distress.

I have been a customer of this bank for 25 years, and unfortunately, my recent experiences have caused me so much unnecessary stress that I have decided to close my accounts.
About six months ago, they completely changed their deposit procedures. You used to be able to deposit money using a handwritten deposit slip, which was simple and efficient. Then they changed it so you needed your debit card and PIN to make a deposit. While that was an adjustment, it was understandable and acceptable.
What is not acceptable is how inconsistent and difficult the process has become. Now, you are required to provide your debit card, enter your PIN, and show your ID just to deposit money. I also regularly deposit money into another person’s account. For the past six months, I was told their debit card was required to access their account, and that is exactly how I handled those deposits.
Today, I was suddenly told that was incorrect and that only my debit card was needed to access both accounts. When I explained that I had been following the previous instructions given to me by their staff for months, I was essentially treated as if I was lying. One gentleman, who I believe was the branch manager, spoke to me in a very disrespectful manner and blamed “FICC regulations,” rather than listening or trying to help.
After I went back in with the handwritten account number, the teller, Zella, was able to see in the system that I had in fact been making deposits the way I described all along. She apologized, which I appreciated, but the damage was already done.
The entire situation could have been avoided if staff were properly trained and communicated with customers respectfully. It should not be this difficult or stressful to deposit money into a bank account.
What upset me the most was how I was treated as if I didn’t matter. When you trust a bank with your money for decades, you expect professionalism, competence, and basic respect.
I have since made an appointment to close my accounts, and I will be doing so soon. After 25 years, I am done.
I strongly encourage younger customers, especially those who work for tips and need to make frequent deposits, to carefully consider their options before banking here. Banking should be simple, not stressful.

My husband and I needed to have an insurance check authorized. After a mess of incorrect information from another branch and the PNC customer service line, we ended up making an appointment at this branch. Oznur Silverstein was very kind and helpful to finally get this done correctly. I would give them higher stars but while we were in the office with her another young man banker opened the door, while she was on the phone, and asked her if she was busy with anything important. He could certainly learn a little professionalism.

The teller service was great. The location was horrible. Why would you ever put a bank branch in the same plaza as a Starbucks! Between their line and trying to park it was a nightmare. Not to mention there isn't any drive thru. This was a bad idea all around
