ZERO STARS! Where is the first place you think of for guidance when doing a important Bank transaction online and far away? your financial institution! Off and on for a couple weeks straight I continued communication with customer service at the Xenia Ohio PNC branch on how to proceed with a purchase transaction safely and providing them details of what I wanted to do and ask them how I needed to do it safely. After speaking with several customer service reps and them discussing amongst themselves there was a suggestions that had changed from credit card to debit card and then eventually went to Final Answer from them which was to use Zelle. My efforts to do my homework for 2 weeks Safely prior to my purchase was a waste of time. There was a major complication with the purchase and PNC did not back their recommendation to use Zelle nor did they help in making things right. PNC Denied all Refunds on these transactions and left me high and dry, basically telling me Sorry for my Luck! Several months later I wanted to try and do the phone check deposit. I called once again my PNC branch and inquired on how to do this and no one was even knowledgeable that it was even a thing. I informed them of where they could find their own information regarding this online. Still with them having no knowledge of how to do it or that it was even possible I was never able to do the on the phone deposit. Then once again this past year I've had some discrepancies on my PNC core card, one in particular being a charge from Walmart which in fact I had a three-way with PNC and Wal mart customer service, Walmart telling telling PNC how to handle it and PNC still denied the reimbursement. Another just to mension was Golden corral at Thanksgiving this year who charged my card double what the cost was for my pickup dinner. I did not receive the dinners nor did I get a reimbursement of my $204.00 that they overcharged me put back on my card by PNC. My resolution - PNC customer service needs training. PNC customer service needs to stop giving advice on financial help that they are only guessing about. You cannot trust PNC as your financial institution to back you in any way. I have made complaints, last one being with the manager at PNC branch who I made another complaint to through him to have escalated and as of 2 months ago I have not heard back anything whatsoever from that escalated complaint. We're all better off using an 8-ball when it comes to help from PNC. I personally do not recommend this Bank! Well the problem with PNC has continued, this time I was told I could now deposit a check by phone into my account and it sounded like a really good idea. So I called thank you to find out exactly what the process of it was, and I was told there was no such thing. PNC Bank themselves didn't even know they know how to process to scan your check by phone and it deposit into your account. So once I called them and inquired on it and they told me it didn't exist I kind of gave up on it until I heard it once again, this time I decided to Google it and there was quite a bit of information on this particular new thing so why PNC didn't even know it existed it's totally beyond me. So so I decided to try it the front of the check picked up okay, but I never was able to get the back to scan. Would be a great tool if it would work and if employees were knowledgeable on how it actually worked I also had a few smaller discrepancies that appeared on my card as well after my first incident and they also we're having issues with helping me with those. Tell once again my review has not changed it's only gotten worse. So therefore my review remains the Same only with extra warnings that PNC is not too knowledgeable about new things and cannot be trusted to give financial advice.
