But our commitment to the financial futures of our members is as strong as the day we started. From the start, the team at the Clintonville branch, -especially Don and his team, were kind, professional, and took my LLC small business dreams seriously. They made the set-up process easy and never rushed me through anything. Anytime I had a question (and there were many), they took the time to walk me through it, so I felt confident. Since becoming a member, I also really appreciate the 2-step authentication steps that the app/ website requires... security and trust really matters, and I feel like my money and my business are in good hands. At first everything was moving along smoothly in our home buying process then a little over a week before we were set to close they basically killed the deal. The underwriter that handled our application must be out of their mind. They requested that we pay to have an “issue” with the basement fixed prior to closing that wasn’t an issue on our own inspection along with fixing a sistern that had already been filled in due to it being a “safety hazard”. Not only did this cause major issues for us but it also made it hard on the seller. So avoid if you can because most other lenders would not request something like this so late in the process especially for a conventional loan.
