I had a business banking appointment. Arrived and was told that there was only one business banker, she was on a conference call, and no one else could help me. She was not able to end the call. As a customer, I have no control over staff schedules or who can complete a task. If she was not available at that time, I should not have been scheduled. As a business owner my time is valuable, and this was my third attempt to add a new signator to the account. They have told me three different sets of materials and steps needed to add a signatory/account holder, which is why I have wasted my time on three separate occasions. Completely unacceptable!

I scheduled a notary appointment at the PNC Bank on Chester Avenue in Cleveland, OH for August 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM, after calling ahead the week prior. I arrived at 1:40 PM, ten minutes early, only to be informed that the notary, Janice, had just gone to lunch. I let the staff know I was willing to wait, expecting her to return shortly.
I sat patiently until 2:05 PM, as well as waiting outside a bit, assuming a lunch break wouldn’t exceed 30 minutes, but unfortunately, Janice never returned in time for our scheduled appointment. I ultimately had to make a separate notary appointment across town on the west side, wasting time and causing unnecessary inconvenience.
In addition to the missed appointment, the branch itself felt extremely disorganized—there were long lines stretching nearly out the door, and I witnessed multiple customers having issues with bank cards getting stuck in the outdoor machines.
It was clear that Janice was aware of her 2:00 PM appointment, yet she chose not to return from lunch in time. This level of disregard for customer appointments and the overall lack of organization left a negative impression of this location. I hope PNC addresses the staffing and scheduling issues to improve customer experience moving forward.
