  Asked to take out a withdrawal as rolls of nickels 1/29/26 & told me I was not allowed to withdraw a SINGLE one because it’s against their policy. Told me I can’t even request in advance to order some rolls. Going to reach out to other branches & switch banks if they won’t allow withdrawals in coins.

  I have been on quite an odyssey of misadventure with this company. It started when my carrier mistakenly swapped my SIM and made me think I had been hacked. I temporarily froze my PNC account and changed my phone number, specifically asking if it would affect my online access once I unfroze the account and they said “no.” I restored the account a few days later. After repeated attempts to login, I contacted the number on the screen and was told that they needed to send out a special password. A week later, nothing. I phoned again and asked for an expedited password. “We don’t do that,” they said. Two weeks later, I am still trying to get access and the CSR gets testy with me when I insist that I need access now. Finally, I go to the branch where I first opened the account, Paxton Avenue in Area 070, and give them 3 choices: 1) Get me access now. 2) Give me a financial incentive for my time and aggravation. 3) Close my accounts. The only thing they can do is close my accounts. The branch manager, Lauren, comes in without even introducing herself and warns me that I can never get these accounts back once they are closed. “Sure,” I say, “But you could open new ones for me. Right?” She says “yes” but doesn’t even get the hint that this would be a solution. Three weeks have passed since I changed my phone number. Everyone make mistakes. It is what you do afterwards that makes the difference. PNC did absolutely nothing to help me other than repeatedly stating their arbitrary policies. Meanwhile, I needed help; not excuses. I am not likely to ever do business with PNC again and I would not advise you to either.

  I love this bank; Olaf is awful. Very unwelcoming and snide. Very judgmental and disrespectful!
