- JJJAFeb 19, 20261.0I have been a business owner for over 20 years and went into PNC in Anderson to open up a business account for a new company I started and wanted to start another relationship with a new bank. I was meet with the worse bankokg experience I have ever had. I was asked for documents that have never been needed to open an account at any banks I have relationships with. Then when documents where provided the banker said his manager wont sign off on an account. When I asked why he said he didn't know. I then told him I have several businesses with Chase bank and his reply was you should open one there. I feel like because I was wearing a sweatshirt instead of a dress shirt and an African American man my business was not wanted there. I calmly left and went across the street to Huntington with the same exact documents and had my account opened in 20min. I will NEVER do business witj PNC again and I will take any opportunity to discuss my experience with my networking groups and family members.
