- NNNicoleJun 12, 20251.0Check out the Pictures So, I tried to close an account about 3 to 4 years ago. I remember the lady telling me they couldn't. She never assisted any further. So, I stopped all my other accounts from different banks to going into that account. And I basically completely forgot about that account in this bank. I had a car loan.I paid that car loan off, and it has been paid off close to 8 years l, maybe longer. I got an email today stating that I only had $200.00 in my account. The last time I had access to my account their was over $2000. Basically, they did not release me of the loan. Even though it was paid off, they had me in the red, they then locked my account without contacting me and was taking money out of my account, again without me knowing until I receive an email today. Again, that load was paid off over 8 years ago. Yet they were still taking money out of my closed account where I couldn't even touch my own money. I will never bank with this bank again. Rockville Centre branch is a scam. Absolutely disgusting. Sad thing is, they won't reimburse me for what they took, knowing that my loan was paid off. Thieves! Update: Even though they responded and told me to email them and they would handle it, they did nothing and told me to take this down. I will let the ppl know what they are getting into

I also miss Libby!!! Now retired but astounding gentility and personability every time we interacted! This is a place where "EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME"!!!!
