On 4/13/26, Marisol Perales, Branch Relationship Banker, helped me sort out excessive changes on my mother's NSB bill pay checking account and Visa credit card account. Arriving, I was so upset because I am taking over power of attorney for my mom. Marisol was patient and understanding with me. She has known my mom for years. She helped me maneuver through my mom's accounts and taught me what to do. Also, she was so considerate of my absolute lack of computer skills. I hope we have long relationship. Thank so much.

I opened my account with Nevada State Bank a little over a week ago. Having recently moved here from Oklahoma for my recovery journey in September I was very excited to be able to open a checking account in general. I did not use this branch to open my account or I would not have went with this bank in the first place. First issue was i tied up all my money into my account when I opened it but was told i would be able to receive my card details when available so that i could upload it and use it fir tap pay until my actual card arrived. Monday came and i called the toll 1800 # and they said for verification purposes to go to the nearest branch and after they were able to confirm my identity that I would be presented my card details would be given because it was available. I walked over a mile to this branch and after arriving a woman(Marisol I believe) told me it wasn't possible and she treated .e so rudely. Like I was lying and talked down to me in front of other customers. I went outside and simply called the customer service line and ultimately i was able to reciece my card details and she was forced to apologize and i went about my business. My parents (in their 70's) sent me a paper check from Oklahoma to help pay part of my rent for sober living and the rest to go toward a laptop that is on sale right now(im starting RN school). I walked dow. To the bank to deposit the check into my account think it may take a couple days to clear. It was out of state but for less than $500. The teller then proceeds to tell me i must wait 9 days for a hold on the check since its a new account. I continued on to tell her the urgency of needing the funds a little earlier and here cone the same lady from the first time. She goes on to tell me to have my parents Zelle me the money with a snarky attitude. Dont you think if my parents could zelle, cash app, or chime the money I would have received a paper check? I walk home furious on the phone with customer service. They reached out to where I originally opened my account and they were not able to lift the hold after trying because that wasnt were I opened my account (hour bus ride from me but close to my work). The brank manager called the bank where I deposited the account and (Marisol I believe) refused to try to get the hold lifted. If one branch can do it why cant the other. This was on Friday so I didnt expect the funds until Monday or so, but this was RIDICULOUS! As a recovering alcoholic/addict simple wins like opening an account at a bank are HUGE for me and this experience definitely starting to feel lije a defeat. Customer service skills are a must and a little kindness goes a long way! AVOID THIS BRANCH at all costs if not this ENTIRE bank in general!

I've came in this bank four different times spoke with a black lady with glasses in a short black little boy showed my ID show my debit card show my mailing address of proof gas bill and still they have not updated myself phone number so I cannot get access to my account. I've read the other comments before mines and is true do not trust this bank with your money. Something on February 4th I had $7 in my account. I hadn't used my bank account since January 20th with the remaining balance of $7 since January 20th why I get a deposit this morning now I have four pending transactions that just randomly came up and she can't tell me what date those transactions was done so now $27 is gone on top of whatever I got deposited today!!! I'm so lost and confused How do a person not use their debit card for over 2 weeks and have a remaining balance of $7 once they get a deposit magically there's pending transactions!!! The lawsuit to this bank is going to be beautiful and I will definitely get my peace!!!!
