But let me tell you how they work…they will call you…text you…send you post cards in the mail…when you have A DOLLAR (that’s right, a single dollar!) available to reborrow…”WE HAVE GREAT NEWS!” So you contact them and ask what is the “GREAT NEWS?” Then you hear, “YOU HAVE $1.55 AVAILABLE TO REBORROW!” Really??? Really??? That is your “GREAT NEWS???” I have been a loyal and GREAT CUSTOMER for over 6 years. Countless loans…yes, I have had some moments with issues of being late, but out of 72 plus months of payment history…maybe 10 times I was late. But I ALWAYS paid the fees and ALWAYS paid the charged interest. My loans have ALWAYS been PAID IN FULL!!! So…they can stop pretending like being late affects them more than it affects the customer. When I have been late, they would call me and leave a message…”PLEASE CONTACT US…WE ARE HERE TO HELP.” I never truly expected that to happen…and IT NEVER DID! THEY NEVER HELPED!!! So after years of being a loyal and GREAT CUSTOMER…and being up to date on my payments…I decide to see if they really meant what they said…that they want to help…my credit is what it has been since the first day I walked into this place…my income rose…and my debt is next to nothing…so when (FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME EVER WITH THIS COMPANY) I decide to request an increase of just $400…they call me back and spit in my face and tell me “sorry”. So that is how much they “want to help” and care about me and my business. To put that into context, my wife is a customer of them as well. Many years AFTER me…she makes less than HALF of what I make…has debt of OVER $50,000 (compared to my $4,000) and she has been able to borrow more than TWICE the amount that I have been able to. Now you can argue that my credit score is a little lower and that I have been late with some payments. But facts are facts…I NEVER ONCE DEFAULTED ON A LOAN WITH THEM (OR ANYONE) and they still punished me with fees, interest, and reporting those missed payment to the credit bureaus. And to show their appreciation for my business…they deny a small increase of $400??? In summary, I am glad to know (now) exactly what they think of me. Just someone they want to keep their foot on the neck of. Stringing me along like a desperate pigeon wanting food. They do not care. They know why people use them…because we are desperate. If any one of their customers could get a loan (with a reasonable interest rate) from a regular bank…WE ALL WOULD! But Sun Loan knows we can’t and they know we will just keep coming back! It is sad when you realize something that you really knew all along…I look forward to paying off my current loan with them. It will definitely be my last. They have laughed at me and ridiculed me behind my back all the while as they lined their pockets with my hard earned money for the very last time. I woke up. And as desperate as you may be for a hand out…it always comes with consequences!!! BELIEVE ME!!! Have pride in yourself. Keep your dignity. Take a fall with another bill instead of letting this place act like they’re doing you a favor, rather than the opposite!!! YOU DO NOT NEED THEM!!! THEY NEED YOU!!! AND UNTIL THESE PATHETIC PLACES ARE SHOWN THAT FACT…THEY WILL KEEP ACTING LIKE YOU NEED THEM!!! YOU DO NOT NEED THEM!!!
