  I met with Brent in person three years ago and thoroughly explained my business operations, including Obsidian LLC and what my company does. Despite this, I received an email from him today stating, “to be candid, I don’t remember what or why you are using Obsidian for.” After being with this firm for three years, it is extremely concerning that they still have no understanding of my business or my file. I paid $250 per month for bookkeeping, and they had no problem withdrawing that money from my account every month. However, my bookkeeping for the entire year of 2025 was neglected. When Mike took over my file, he had to start completely over from January 2025 and reorganize my books. This experience has been frustrating, disappointing, and unacceptable, especially given the length of time I’ve been a client and the fees I’ve consistently paid. I expected professionalism, attention to detail, and basic familiarity with my account none of which were delivered.

Professional business & personal tax advice, setting up LLC's & team assist in you doing your part in their legitimacy, & correct tax preperation. Been rolling with them since October 2025 and already know my companies and myself will be with them for years to come!

  A family member referred my to Nate Kapp for do her taxes for their small business for 10 years. So i decided to give Nate a try since 2020 which is 5 years he has been doing my taxes. I also referred him to 2 of my colleagues which he gladly took their business. As of April 2, 2025 not a word from Nate despite many times trying to contact him on the portal, email and call. Now this is Tax season and still not a word from Nate. After 2 days of Nate being unprofessional after 3 days trying to call and not answering, I finally I left a message saying to at least have the decency to tell me immediately if he is doing my taxes or not. The next day I get a simple email from Nate saying "Hello Maui- We have made some internal changes where we have cut back on staff and consolidated our client list. We won’t be able to file your tax return this year" After 5 years and 2 referrals this is the thanks I get. It took 9 months and this is the reply i got back and had I not left the message I did, Nate would careless about my returns. No explanation, no thanks for my business. It took me stressing out to find out this information. I am still shocked that a firm that is not cheap at all can treat their clients as such. Anybody considering this firm make sure you have a back up plan.
