Great customer service. I have no complaints and have never had a bad experience at the bank itself or by phone. Originally I had gone to another bank in Los Lunas and was stunned by the rude attitude and lack of customer concern. Switching to Nusenda was a no brainer.

Walked in to open an account for my son and told there were no agents available so after asking my son’s age (10- which no one said was a problem) they scheduled me for the next day. The next day, I called in the morning to let them know I needed to move my appt back because I wouldn’t be available until about 15 mins after it was scheduled. The representative on the phone told me it wouldn’t be a problem and that they honor the appt 30 mins before and after the scheduled time. So I walk in to my appt 15 mins after it was scheduled, later that day and am told it was cancelled and that I could be treated as a walk-in but that it’d be at least an hour. I explained the phone call and they just looked at me like, “awh, I’m sorry.” It was on the end of an already bad day so I left and have intention to go back and close all our accounts. We called again to talk to someone higher up at which point we were informed that my son was too young for an account. So why even schedule us in the first place and have me engage in this back and forth? So unprofessional and flippant. Go to a different federal credit union- maybe there you and your time will be treated with respect.

I was racially profiled and discriminated against. A member of the community and I went to open an account for a church group we are treasures at. We tried to open a joint account, when the bank representative saw her card of temporary status we were told that she could not open account. When I asked if I could open it by myself, I was accused of trying to open an account for someone else. When we spoke to the supervisor about it, the bank representative stepped out of her office, stood next to the supervisor and laughed. The supervisor stated that she was aware of the situation and that she supported what had just happened.

I'm very disappointed with the management at this branch. While the front-line staff (like the tellers) are friendly and professional, it's clear that there's a toxic work culture behind the scenes. I overheard employees discussing how management makes bets on which new hire will quit first, and that certain people are hired with the expectation that they won't last.
This is incredibly unprofessional and speaks volumes about how little respect they have for their own employees. Bullying and manipulation are not acceptable in any workplace, and it's alarming that this seems to be tolerated-if not encouraged-by the managers here.
As a customer, it makes me question the integrity of this branch, and I hope upper management takes a serious look at what's going on. People deserve to work in a respectful and supportive environment.now I know why they always changing employees in this branch.
