I went to the PNC bank on coors Monday June 3rd. (Which is today) .The teller who was named Chris he told me it was an instant deposit. So I clarified that I would instantly have the money in my account available from this deposit which was a check. He confirmed this money would be available right as soon as he put in my deposit . This money is for my tattoo appointment which now I have to reschedule , but also for my work gas money while he was working on depositing it I showed another teller My pay statement with the taxes that were taken out & my hours. I asked her what FICA tax is & the Medicare employee tax I have simple understanding but had questions . She said that she seen them before and said “because I’ve had a job before “ it was said in a condescending and belittling way as if I never had a job before lol okay so I asked her so you see these taxes on checks because apparently you’ve “had a job before” and I asked her so then if you’ve seen them and all the taxes taken out then what do you know about them / what are they exactly ? She couldn’t give me any basic understanding on it or any information she didn’t know anything on the topic and simply did not know. She went to ask one of the bank managers, and the bank manager didn’t know what these meant or any basic info which I thought was odd since they are working in a bank but lacking the knowledge for these things or basic correct communication skills in banking. She wanted me to make a financial advisor appointment and I declined. Then after the man said he deposited my check and i checked my balance which said pending. I left angry, due to their mistake . And knowing that I had no money for gas to get to my job let alone home today from my job. Before I left, I told them if I knew I was getting it the next day then I would’ve just cashed it at Walmart. I ended up calling PNC customer service and they understood the situation and the workers mistake So they gave me $100 of my check in advance right away and I’ll get the rest tomorrow. They were the only good part of this bank experience today. Don’t go to the PNC bank on coors . I do recommend the PNC in front of the enchanted hills Walmart . They are super intelligent and communicate correctly. If you don’t want someone messing up your money then go to the one in enchanted hills where they have experience and more basic knowledge on things. PNC Customer Support YOU ARE GOLDEN THANK YOU FOR DOING THE MOST ON FIXING A MISTAKE!

Very upsetting I was told to go to this bank by its neighboring bank. I get there and presented a check that was a PNC Bank check. They said they can cash it if I had two forms of ID which I did. They then stated they needed to call the business that produced the check, 5 minutes later they stated they had to collect 2%, which I agreed to. The check was verified through the first bank I went to, and then verified a second time with this bank, and because the company didn’t answer them they said they couldn’t cash the check, they then said I had to open an account and deposit it and wait for funds to hit my account. I was told by the initial bank that the check is cashable, but they just didn’t have the funds. I then called the bank on Marquette they said the same thing, that they would cash the check but they just don’t have the funds and to contact other banks in Albuquerque which I did. And they amazing people on the Academy branch easily cashed the check for me, and went above and beyond their job duty to help me get this check cashed. In which I will be giving that branch a 5 star rating and will be opening an account with them and hopefully doing a lot of business with them in the future.

HELP!!!!
There has to be something illegal about this. Where do I go????
I paid a worker 2600.00 for work he did for me. He went to get the check cashed. Chase refused to cash it cause he didn’t have much money in his account.
They stamped the back of his check “Endorsement Cancelled”. This was on a Saturday.
On Monday I got the check back from the man and got cash for him.
Tuesday morning, I awoke to discover that Chase had processed the check and the amount had been deducted from my checking account.
Chase told me to wait 9 days and get the money from the man. The money will be deposited in his account. They also gave me the option of going to my bank and having them put a stop payment on it. They said there would be plenty of time to pull back the funds…..they haven’t honored the stop payment. What do I do?
What government agency to I contact????
They have my 2600.00.
UPDATE: is there just a plain email address I can refer to or, perhaps, a phone number?
