  Stay away from this man he is incompetent in more ways than I could ever explain! He filed our joint taxes using my husband's incorrect social security number, and i needed to hire another cpa to clean up his mess. He was verbally abusive and then refused to take any of my phone calls or even say he was sorry. DO NOT USE THIS GUY!!!!!!!

  Stay clear. This firm is totally incompetent. I hired another firm to clean up their accounting mess. This is what this narcissist sent to me - he is very strange. SO Steve you received the refund . there was no refund that was due you at that time. SO basically they paid you a refund that was not due you. SO Why would I OWE YOU interest on the IRS giving you a refund that you should not have received in the meantime. Send a letter to them explaining what ocurred and pay the tax due and any interest due from from April 15th until you paid the $ 10,540.00 BUT TO THINK I would pay this is ridiculous and I did nothing to have to pay anything !!!!!!! MGB Yes, I paid that amount. Based on your amendments, I received a refund that we discussed. See below my transcript. Now, I owe another $10000+ based on your 1040. You need to reimburse me for interest charges. Best, Steve Groppi

  My experience was the worst ever. He reneged on his word to me to pay the interest from the IRS due to an error he made. Also, he neglected to file my taxes and the IRS notified me with a huge failure to file and penalties. There is no discussing a situation with him as he gets nasty, short tempered and uses crude language. As a woman, I was shocked but beyond that, I am the client. His fees are not inexpensive and it is not unreasonable to expect professionalism and accuracy. I suggest seeking a different CPA but good luck if you use him !
