  My mortgage was sold to this bank and it has not been a good experience. My last mortgage broker was day and night better.

  I’ve been with this bank over 2 year. I have a bi monthly mortgage. In September 2017 the 3 RD payment was taken out of my account on a Friday before 3 pm instead of the payment taken out the following Monday. This caused a major problem with my account. I called the bank who contacted me 3 days later. They explained that there was a change with ALL banks and that the payments will now be debited on Friday instead of the following Monday. This threw me out of the bi monthly agreement. This bank came through for me. They immediately reinstated me and I ok them to take out the 3rd payment which is really the principal payment. Big thanks to a customer service worker name Boni a Puerto Rican who took my 3rd payment and explained in detail and promised me that my bimonthly Agreemt would not be affected. Thank you Flag Star. Just a message to the bank - debiting the payment AFTER 3PM ON A FRIDAY WOULD BE A HUGE HELP TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. My husband gets Pay on a Sunday and we need this salary to make our Mortgage payment. To Flagstar customers- be nice, call the bank and explain your situation, they will help you but be nice.
