Banking shouldn't be hard - Branches should be especially concerned with treating customers well and meet problems with urgency - Frankly, it's about the only reason I've stayed with PNC as I like having a physical branch I can go to in order to solve issues as they come up quickly. As they (and many others) close branches left and right, the one in Alpha is just about the last one standing in our area.
I wanted a new card on Friday because the chip was not working during the week, culminating in my card not working at a 3rd party ATM when I really needed cash. I headed to the branch. Instead of just issuing me a new card (which takes about 5 minutes), they argued with me about the whether I needed a new card, insisted it would work and that all stores want us to tap instead of insert the ship, etc. etc. etc. They insisted I try using the ATM outside and if it worked, then the chip was working and I was wrong. Whatever. Indeed the ATM worked and I got the cash I needed. I was in a rush and couldn't deal with the nonsense inside anymore. Over the weekend, I purposely tried my card at about 5 retailers and it declined every single time. So, my card is still not working and I'm sitting here wondering why it was so flipping difficult to just cut me a new card and send me on my way. Sure, taps work 90% of the time, but I had a problem, I stated the problem which is easy enough to fix) and was met with a near refusal to fix my issue.
It's basic stuff, guys. For this and other issues related to my business banking, I've lost trust and faith in PNC and will be moving to other baking options shortly.

ATM is often broken, which means I have to pay teller fees. When you stop at this bank, they will call you to sell you other products. They also refused to cash I check I had written someone.
This branch is the reason I closed my accounts at PNC.

You shut down while I was in line at the drive through! Left me stranded with no fuel... I begged for service and the teller shrugged her shoulders and said ohh well... I don't believe how my business isn't worth 5 minutes of PNC time
