  I've banked here for about 5 years until today. overdrafts on my account when its setup to not do so. I called and explained how its not my fault, they didnt care, "nothing they can do". But I know they can authorize reversing their fee. Stole 35$ out of my families pocket for the last time. Ubt here i come

  Always a positive experience, even during what are usually frustrating situations. The competitive dividends on their accounts, are great, but what really makes the difference is the people/customer service. Justin at the 84th street branch, recently resolved a(self inflicted) issue with my debit card that was causing headaches for over a month. He was able find the issue, and have a solution in less than a day. You’ll receive a quicker, and much more focused response from Liberty First than you would a larger national bank, or chain bank. They’ve always picked up the phone, and provided a solution that day for any issues. Justin was also able to answer all my questions, and then some about the Liberty+ credit card, after shopping around a bit, it made too much sense to go with them. Rates for loans, and credit cards beat any issuer I’ve found In Lincoln Nebraska by far. I can’t praise the return rates on the kasasa accounts, and Liberty+ enough!

  I genuinely wish I had know about this credit union sooner. I have had nothing but bad experiences at Lincone. Went into Liberty First to open a new account and was pleasantly surprised at how helpful they were. Justin Holms positive attitude was refreshing. I was informed of all the ways I could increase my credit, as well as other financially improving options, my previous credit union never bothered to help with. I was used to just dealing with my distain for who I was banking with. Now I wish I had started looking elsewhere sooner.

  I worked with Evie and Justin in getting some new accounts set up and a balance transfer for a new Liberty First Credit Union credit card. Justin especially went the extra mile. He communicated clearly the process and then worked with me over the weekend even calling me on his personal cell phone. When there was a delay he kept me in the loop and articulated honestly what steps still needed to be done. I was impressed with their teamwork and professionalism and am so happy that they made time for me and got me into some serious money saving financial instruments. Liberty First put me first!
