I would give zero stars to this location if I could! Absolutely THEE worst PNC branch I've ever dealt with. Let's start with the ways this branch has let me down. Few years ago, this branch let two of our checks (that were stolen from our business mailbox without us knowing) be cashed at this location. And it became a whole thing with PNC that instead of giving us our money back right away, had to do an investigation into it, only to tell us that basically there was nothing they could do for us... like are you kidding me! At least another branch was able to use their location slush fund to give us our money back. At this particular location though, one of the female tellers entered one of our deposits wrong, which resulted in over $800 of our business money being taken back out of our account. I was one that had to figure that out and go back into their location to figure out where our money went and again, get it back. The final straw was this locations absolute asinine and I'm 100% convinced 'rule' of only 2 deposits through the drive-thru. We own a small business in town and can't always make it to the bank, especially since we have a young child. Today, they refused our 'more than 2 deposits' through the drive-thru because, and I quote "It takes time to do".... okay first, I understand that. But second, I WAS THEE ONLY CUSTOMER THERE! IN EITHER THE DRIVE-THRU OR INSIDE! Tried telling me that didn't matter and I needed to come inside. So let me get this straight, there was not one single other customer there with me, BOTH drive-thru lanes were open, I was NOT holding anyone else up, AND I said I would absolutely drive around and come inside if someone pulled up behind me, and I was still refused!!! Why? Because they just wanted to say "Because we said so"! Seriously?! You want me to get out of my car, go inside to wait because.... you all of a sudden MIGHT get a rush of people at 930am on a Thursday! Come one! This branch and the people that work here are the absolute final straw for me and I have already opened a new business checking account with a different company. I will be pulling all our money and closing all our personal and business accounts as soon as I possibly can. We've owned multiple businesses in multiple states and used multiple banks. This is the FIRST time I've EVER been told I can't use the drive-thru because we have over 2 deposits! And that includes multiple PNC branches! From Clayton to Raleigh, not one other PNC branch has said this to me! Which is how I know, this branch decided to make this up. But that's okay, we'll get better treatment elsewhere. Congratulations PNC Smithfield, you've lost a business customer for life!

Don’t even read the one star reviews. This is the best bank I have ever had the pleasure to associate with. Chris and Melissa and everyone else are smart, capable and more importantly dedicated to their customers. I came from a bad situation and they have treated me like the most important customer they have. Problems were solved. Questions answered. Always promptly and efficiently. Love them!!!

This has been going on all week, and it's starting to get really annoying. I can't log in to see anything.

This bank is horrible! I took my elderly uncle to this bank. He had his bank card and his atm card and his nc identification. Unfortunately his id had expired a month prior and he hadn’t realized it. I took him to get his I.d. Renewed that same day. Went back to the back and he got his money. Problem is, the woman behind the counter closed his atm card (which meant that he would have to order another) and when he went out of state he couldn’t get his money! If this is their policy (which is crazy) she should have notified him of this!! He was greatly inconvenienced and had to borrow money to make it back home!! Horrible customer service!!

If I could give zero starts I would. Nobody in this bank knows how to do anything properly or even cares to try. Ashley is beyond incompetent. Problem after problem here. Maybe other branches are better but this one is being ran into the ground. Stay away, stay away, stay away!!!!
